taboo-cafe: migration and culture

Finding yourself in a new culture can be very challenging. The high pressure placed on integrating and adapting to the new culture can make it difficult to find where you fit in. Where do I belong? How loyal should I remain? There are a lot of voices around us pushing us in a certain direction. This can be very confusing, as if you are living between two worlds. What does it take from you to have to navigate between the two? Do you sometimes experience conflicts within yourself? What does culture mean to you?

These are questions we want to work with in this one-off session. Broeinest wants to offer you the chance to talk about this with other young adults. Together, we will explore how you can stay close to yourself and your own values during this period of transition.
